What is Cinevesture?

Cinevesture is a platform that caters to the professionals of movie and TV/streaming networks and helps facilitate the business of film.

We make money from annual subscriptions, fees for training and curated programs.

Is there a free trial period?

Yes, Cinevesture offers a 30-day free trial period with any membership plan. It is a one time trial period and once expired, it cannot be renewed.

What happens to my profile, if I do not wish to continue post the free trial phase?

Even after the free trial is over, your profile is visible to others unless you decide to delete your account during the free trial. But you won’t be able to access your profile unless you buy a membership plan.

What makes a great profile application?

The first step is to make sure that your profile is as complete as possible. Creating a 100% complete profile and following the best practices outlined in our help section is a great place to start.

What are gender pronouns?

Gender (or personal) pronouns are pronouns that are associated primarily with a particular grammatical person – first person (as I), second person (as you), or third person (as he, she, it, they). Personal pronouns may also take different forms depending on the number (usually singular or plural), grammatical or natural gender, case, and formality.

Is it mandatory to share my contact information on my profile?

You do require an email id to create your Cinevesture profile, and that id will be published on your profile as that is the only way a client can contact you. Cinevesture acts as a digital directory. All communication takes place outside of Cinevesture on a one-on-one basis.

What is the difference between the Pro membership and an Enterprise membership?

The Pro membership is for freelancers (not associated with any organization or company), whereas the Enterprise membership is for companies only.

As a bonus, you can create up to three individual profiles for your employees in addition to your company profile under the Enterprise membership.

Does Cinevesture charge a commission on transactions?

Cinevesture does not charge a commission on transactions between creators and investors. We are about exploring unlimited commercial opportunities through a flat subscription fee.

What happens when my account is suspended?

You will be downgraded to the Free membership if your account gets suspended. You will need to update your payment method to proceed with your billing.

How is the payment information stored?

How can I make my profile inactive if I am not available to take up work?

If you are taking a short break, you don’t need to deactivate your profile; instead, uncheck your skillset to make your profile inactive so that you don’t show in the search.

To create an account on Cinevesture, is there a UPI option available or do we have to pay via card only?

As of now we only accept card payments. We are working on incoporating UPI options

My cards details are not being saved at the payment gateway?

You will have to enter the card details everytime you renew your subscription.

What type of projects can I post on Cinevesture?

As a creator, whether you are an individual or an organization, you can have multiple projects in your pipeline. These can vary from content ideas to infrastructure projects to startup ventures.

What kind of projects can I expect to see on Cinevesture?

The projects listed on Cinevesture include films, series, infrastructure projects, education and startups. These projects are available for business investments and collaborations.

What is Content in Projects?

Content is the information and experiences; directed at an end-user or audience in publishing, art, and communication. It means digital versions of audiovisual works, sound recordings, literary works, and/or pictorial works.

What is Infrastructure in Projects?

In the media industry, Infrastructure refers to the foundational technologies, services, facilities and outlets critical to the communication of information, opinion and expression.

What is StartUp in Projects?

A StartUp is a company or project undertaken by an entrepreneur to seek, develop, and validate a scalable business model.

Can agencies/enterprises/organizations have projects on Project Catalog?

Yes. Anyone who signs up on Cinevesture can list their projects on Project Catalog.

How do I add a project for my agency/enterprise/organization?

If you own or manage an agency/enterprise/organization, you should sign up for the Enterprise membership to create your company profile. If you have signed up as an individual, you cannot list your company on Cinvesture.

Once signed up, go to Projects > Add a Project. Alternatively, go to your Account > Projects > Add a Project.

Why was my picture rejected for being low quality when it looks good to me?

We scale images on Project Catalog to 1000×750 pixels which is a 4:3 ratio. If your image’s original pixel number is significantly larger or smaller, or the actual size is a much different ratio, it may not look good when scaled. For example, Small pictures may look pixelated (blurry or fuzzy) when enlarged.

How do I upload a video?

When filling out your profile and/or project form, you will be required to submit an introductory video under the Gallery section. We suggest you upload your video on Youtube or Vimeo or Google Drive and add the link to your profile. Currently the platform does not support the uploading of video files directly onto the cloud.

What type of video formats/sizes are accepted?

You can upload videos in .mp4 formats. Per project, the video can be up to 3 GB in size. If the project video is in any other language, then the video should have English subtitles.

What type of formats/sizes are accepted for images and other documents?

You can upload images in .jpg, .gif, or .png formats up to 10 MB each. You can also add other documents up to 15 MB each.

How many files/how much material can I upload per profile/project?

You can upload up to 5 images (5 MB each), 2 PDFs (3 MB each) and 3 videos (3 Gb each).

What are project milestones?

Milestones are a way to break up a project by deliverables. They are used to divide a large project into more manageable chunks of work.

You can add additional milestones as one is completed and keep track of your project’s progress.

How does job search work?

The job search algorithm matches your query to the content of job posts, including skills, title, employment type and location.

What does it mean when you endorse someone on Cinevesture?

Cinevesture endorsements are a feature that allows people to come to your profile and endorse you for certain skills in your profile simply by hitting the ‘endorse’ button.

How do I post a job?

If you are looking for a crew or employees, you fill in the requirements like – Basic information, Job Description and Skill required for the position.

After filling in all the details you can hit on “PUBLISH” to post the job requirement. In case you are unsure of a few details and want to revisit later, you can click on “Save as Draft” and save the current draft to make changes later, before publishing.

I tried to post a job/project and can’t. Why?

If you’re getting an error message when you try to post, please try using a different browser or clearing your browser cache/cookies. If that doesn’t work, contact our support team on info@cinevesture.com, and we will be happy to help you.

How do I find a specific talent?

To find a specific talent, type their name directly in the search box or use the available filters on the Industry Guide page. The suggestions will show up accordingly.

How do I find talent in a specific location?

We do support the location-specific search for talent. You can use the location filter to find specific talent located in that location.

How do I start work?

On Cinevesture, you can look for projects/job opportunities and contact the client/freelancer directly. Whether you agree to work on a project or not is entirely up to you, and Cinevesture plays no role in direct negotiations.

How do I save a talent or project to view later?

Each profile and project has a ♡ button. Click on it to save for later. You can find the saved under the Favorites tab in your profile.

Why offer location selection for remote work?

We recognize that sometimes you need a freelancer located in the same country as you. Your projects may require localized knowledge, the possibility of on-site coordination, specific compliance needs or other factors. that makes working with someone within your country an easier way to get started on Cinevesture.

When I search for people in the Industry Guide section, will it only show people who have signed up on the platform or otherwise too?

You will only be shown the profiles of the people who have signed up on the Cinevesture website.

How do I sign up for the Cinevesture community?

You already have. If you’re using Cinevesture, you automatically become a part of the community.

How do I sign up for Community webinars?

Cinevesture community webinars are invite-only. Invites will be emailed to those who sign up/ opt to receive newsletters from Cinevesture.

How many usually attend a webinar?

As many as possible can join depending on the invites sent out, including the host.

How often does the group meet, and how long is the session?

These events are weekly peer-group meetings. A webinar usually lasts 1 to 2 hours.

Does it cost anything to attend?

Webinars are free of charge, but you do have to receive an invite.

How are virtual webinars conducted?

Virtual webinars are hosted via Zoom Meeting, with enabled video and audio.

Are these webinars recorded?

No, these webinars are not recorded to protect the group’s privacy and make everyone feel comfortable discussing their issues. We recommend that participants too take confidentiality seriously. If you hear any valuable observations or come away with to-do items, we recommend taking notes.
